About Bodysgallen Hall & Spa
Situated in a commanding position on Mt Pydew within over 220 acres of historic parkland and breathtaking views over its formal gardens, Conwy Castle and Eryri National Park, Bodysgallen Hall & Spa offers a peaceful and private setting for meetings, events, away-days and private dining. With easy connections by road (2 miles from the A55 Expressway) and train (2 miles from Llandudno Junction station), this 17th Century Grade I-listed country house hotel provides all that is best in traditional hospitality.
Bodysgallen Hall accommodates 31 bedrooms and suites; 15 bedrooms (including four principal suites) located in the main house and 16 cottage suites in the grounds, all individually decorated in a traditional country house style and thoughtfully furnished with antique collectibles, fine prints and paintings. Some have a small private garden and are dog friendly.
Public rooms include the oak-panelled Drawing Room with capacity for 30 guests, the more intimate ground floor Library and a bar, all well suited for receptions and gatherings.
For private luncheons and dinners up to 45 guests, the 2 AA Rosette awarded dining room in the main Hall overlooks the gardens. It is the perfect setting to enjoy imaginative menus inspired by seasonal local produce and organic fruit and vegetables grown on the estate. In warmer months, drinks can be served on the sun terrace overlooking the gardens. The Upper Wynn Room, housed in an 18th-century converted stable block and adjacent to the main house, has an apex oak beamed ceiling, natural light from the windows and air conditioning. It accommodates up to 50 guests theatre style, and is ideal for board meetings, events, presentations, seminars, receptions and other business or social occasions. Self-contained and close to the car park, it also offers access to the Tack Room. The Tack Room is a smaller, more intimate space for up to 8 guests, being ideal as a syndicate room or for interview situations and has an attached outdoor terrace.
For high-profile occasions where discretion and confidentiality are essential, Bodysgallen Hall may be hired for exclusive use. Exclusive use is available on a 24-hour tariff which includes the 31 bedrooms, cottages and suites, and maximum flexibility for dining, entertainment and activities. All overnight guests enjoy complimentary access to Spa facilities, which includes a large indoor pool, spa bath, sauna, steam room, gymnasium and Club Room. We recommend guests book any spa treatments before arrival to avoid disappointment.
Bodysgallen Hall & Spa is one of the three Historic House Hotels of the National Trust, where every visit benefits the charity. By choosing to stay with Bodysgallen Hall guests will receive complimentary access to local National Trust properties during their stay, whilst also supporting the charity.
Bodysgallen Hall & Spa offers a refined and memorable setting where every event is treated with the utmost attention to detail.
