About Alpaca my Boots
Alpaca my Boots is an Alpaca trekking company located on our working family farm 3.5 miles outside of Brecon, in the heart of the beautiful Brecon Beacons National Park.
Visitors can enjoy a fantastic, family friendly day out at Alpaca my Boots. Our treks take place over 90 minutes on Mynydd Illtyd common, up to Twyn Y Gaer, the remnants of an Iron Age fort. Here, you will generally have fantastic views of the Usk valley, the Black Mountains, and of course the Brecon Beacons themselves. Breath taking scenery is guaranteed and there will be ample opportunity to take a good selfie with your Alpaca by your side!
As this is a working farm, you will encounter our other animals, including our cattle, sheep and the occasional pig!
The trek is approximately 1 mile long, but does involve some uphill walking and uneven terrain. We can take a maximum of 25 Alpacas out with us. There will be an opportunity to feed your Alpaca before you leave the farm after your trek.
Group bookings, such as corporate or hen parties up to 30 people are welcome. Our on-site yurt has an electricity supply, heating, tables and chairs and can be used to gather after your trek for a meeting or social event. We can also offer afternoon tea that can be taken in the comfort of the yurt.
Unfortunately, the terrain is not suitable for those in wheelchairs.
An Alpaca group trek makes a fantastic, memorable day out for you and your friends and colleagues.
To book a private group trek, please email Louise at hello@alpacamyboots.com
We look forward to seeing you at Alpaca my Boots. Your woolly friend awaits!
