Sheep Dog Herding Experience - Good Day Out

Learn all about shepherding with a working sheep dog with Ross Games who breeds and trains his own dogs, regularly competing nationally & internationally at sheep dog trials. If you love One Man and His Dog, you'll love this!

They offer two different types of experience:

* Small groups and individuals, with join-in and private sessions available. Spend 60-90 minutes with Ross and his working dogs, demonstrating how to command a working sheep dog with sheep to move them around the field, then have a go!

During this tiny group farm experience session, based in a field on a working Welsh Hill Farm, you'll meet their friendly sheep, as well as having interactive demonstrations with a few of Ross' Welsh Border Collies at different stages of their training. Pricing from £40 ppn & private sessions available from £160. Mainly attended by adults but quiet animal-loving children over 12 yrs welcome as part of a private group.

* Larger groups and coach trips can be accommodated for demonstrations with pricing from £15 per person for group sizes over x 30. The location is different to the small group sessions and has good access suitable for coaches. These larger group sessions last about 30-40 minutes with a demonstrations using working dogs at different stages of their training. At the end, one person can be selected to have a go. These sessions are fun and engaging and people will have a chance to meet the dogs and sheep if they wish. Longer sessions with additional trainers can be arranged should the whole group wish to participate.
