In the Welsh Wind Distillery

In The Welsh Wind Distillery is one of the smallest distilleries in Wales, based in Tan-y-groes, overlooking Cardigan Bay. The Welsh Wind Distillery specialises in creating bespoke spirits for other businesses, and offers gin making and gin tasting experiences to the public.

Our 2-hour gin making experience kicks off with a gin and tonic, while we introduce you to the distillery. We talk you through the gin making process, our extensive selection of botanicals and discuss how you can craft a bespoke recipe which you will then distil and bottle, taking home your own personal bottle of gin. With your botanicals selected, you will operate one of our custom-made copper pot mini stills through the heads cut, collecting the heart of the run and blending with good Welsh water before tasting and bottling your gin.

If you prefer to simply sit back and taste some of our gins, we offer a gin tasting experience in our lounge area. Enjoy a gin and tonic while we talk you through 3 of our gins, and then introduce the tasting experience. Once you have sampled 3 gins, you can enjoy a further G&T made up with your favourite gin.

We can offer the distillery space for private events. We can accommodate up to 100 in our refurbished contemporary space.
