Small World Theatre

Small World Theatre is home to the puppet theatre company of the same name. It is a beautiful, creative near zero carbon space on the West coast of Wales, with a supportive team and fully accessible facilities.

The company presents a year-round programme of live events and classes in its unique, friendly and flexible venue, but it is also available to hire. A highly skilled team will work with you to present your live theatre, music, drama, dance or performance. We can also help you to arrange parties, meetings and conferences. We are proud to be one of the few venues offering aerial circus facilities and training in Wales. Small World Theatre is an iconic building, recognised by Design Commission for Wales as a great design built for the environment. ‘This is a distinctive public building which fulfills an ambitious brief to build ‘A Creative Space for a Creative Community’, with highly commendable sustainability credentials… a testament to the dedication of the team who have achieved a very special project for the community of Cardigan.’ Design Commission for Wales. Working with architect Olly Llewelyn, Small World Theatre was built using materials from renewable or recycled sources.
