Narrowboat operator Anglo Welsh Waterways Holidays will offer daily skippered narrowboat trips between April - October across the UNESCO World Heritage Pontcysyllte Aqueduct in North Wales aboard 'Seren Fach’, (or ‘Little Star’ in English).

The 45min return trip takes visitors along the Llangollen Canal and across the 126ft high historic aqueduct, to experience amazing views across the Dee Valley.

Anglo Welsh’s knowledgeable team provide commentary on board, so clients can learn about the aqueduct and how it gained UNESCO World Heritage Status and the fascinating history of the Llangollen Canal as they cruise gently along.

‘Little Star’ offers space for up to 48 passengers, so makes a great opportunity for business events looking for something different.

Private charters are available, perfect for team days out and special occasions. A 10% discount on groups of ten or more and refreshments are available should you wish to include this in your corporate offer.

Anglo Welsh also offers longer bespoke visits for corporate groups of 20 or more. For example, Little Star can host a 2hr return journey along the Llangollen Canal to Chirk Marina and back, giving clients the chance to experience more of the 11 mile (17.7 km) UNESCO World Heritage site, including the Whitehouses Tunnel.

Car and coach parking is also available a short walk away at LL14 3SG.
