Dewi's films include the BIFA-winning film Orion: The Man Who Would Be King and The Borneo Case which premiered at IDFA in the masters section. His film Donna by Jay Bedwani, premiered at Frameline Film Festival San Francisco on June 25th 2022 and distributed in the UK & Ireland by Bohemia Media. Gregory is currently completing development on his next film, Smoking Shores, by debut filmmaker David Warwick, executive produced by Michael Sheen, ready for financing in Summer 2022. He is an EAVE Producers Workshop graduate and Creative England Market Trader delegate.
Dewi Gregory, Film Producer, Truth DepartmentParticipating in the EAVE Producer Workshops in Luxembourg, Skopje and Strasbourg was a formative experience in my development as a Film Producer. I learned that the problems usually faced alone are in fact common to most producers, whether in fiction or non-fiction films. In our groups, we challenged one another’s films in development and in so doing, forged bonds that were to flourish into a peer support that remains to this day, and for many of us, international co-productions. That Wales will be the setting for binding together a new generation of independent film producers is a very gratifying prospect indeed."
