Dr Jessica Clapham has worked in the field of Applied Linguistics for 28 years in Sudan, China, Singapore and Wales, focussing on EFL Theory, Refugee Education, Literacy Development and Teacher Education and Language Policy and currently employed as a Senior Lecturer in Applied Linguistics and Course Director for the MA TESOL and ELT Lead on the Professional Doctorate programme at UWTSD University.

Dr Jessica J Clapham is a founder member of the LLAWEN Language Network and has presented in numerous national and international conferences, research projects, staff exchange visits to Finland, Malta and the Basque Country and written and contributed to articles and books in the field.

I am interested in contributing further to showcasing pedagogy in Second Language Acquisition from an international perspective. Over the past 25 years I have been given many opportunities for observation in global settings as well as interviews with experts in the field of Bilingualism and Second language Acquisition in Wales and beyond. Wales is an inspirational place to gather great minds together to ignite the flame of curiosity for future generations."
