Andrew has been Head of the School of English Literature, Deputy Dean and Director of the Graduate School for the College of Arts and Humanities during his career at Bangor University. He was awarded an AHRC Research Fellowship for 2011-12 and was also the recipient of the Ben Jonson Discoveries Award in 2014. He was Marie Sklodowska-Curie Research Fellow at the Institut de Recherche sur la Renaissance, l'Age Classique et les Lumières, Université Paul-Valéry, Montpellier III from 2016-18 and has been appointed as a Research Fellow to the Institute.
