Profile
Professor Jeremy Tree has a long standing interest in the consequences of brain damage on specific cognitive functions (cognitive neuropsychology) – in particular, disorders of reading (dyslexia), speech production (aphasia), memory (amnesia) and face processing (prosopagnosia). In each case the work seeks to better illuminate the processing components of these specific functions in the normal population.

Professor Jeremy Tree, Swansea UniversityWales is a vibrant research nation, which despite its small size clearly punches above its weight. It has given me a great deal of satisfaction to have run a large international event at Swansea in the recent past and receive such positive feedback about visits here. I feel it is important to highlight the rich opportunities for undertaking research collaborations spanning science and technology to tapping the rich cultural and linguistic heritage and history of this beautiful country. As a consequence, I am very proud to be an ambassador for the region."
