Professor Mandy Robbins, Wrexham UniversityBringing academics to Wales will ‘showcase’ our higher education offering and provide the opportunity to showcase our culture and scenery. From the isolated beauty of our Islands like Bardsey and Skomer, to our the beauty of the Pembrokeshire, Bannua Brycheiniog and Eryri National Parks. By supporting and encouraging scholars from across the globe to come to Wales and experience this for themselves, we can grow our national impact. Our early career researchers across Wales is enabling us to make international contacts that will lead to collaborations in their own right which will continue this work into the next generation of researchers."
