Cardiff is a city that blends vibrant urban energy with deep-rooted Welsh heritage and business event delegates get the opportunity to experience it all through a unique culinary journey with Loving Welsh Food.

This guided tasting tour offers a flavourful journey through Cardiff’s compact and characterful city centre. Delegates will explore independent cafés, artisan producers, and cultural landmarks, sampling everything from traditional Welsh cakes to modern Welsh cuisine. It’s more than just food – it’s a story of the city told through its tastes, people and places.

A standout feature is the Welsh cake Workshop, led by Nerys Howells, Food Specialist and hosted in the historic Tabernacle Chapel – a Grade II* listed Welsh-language Baptist chapel in the city centre. Here, groups can enjoy a hands-on session where they learn to make Wales’ most iconic treat, with live demonstrations and insights into Welsh culinary heritage whilst learning a few Welsh words along the way. It’s a relaxed, interactive experience that adds a cultural twist to any business itinerary and of course, the chance to cook and enjoy warm Welsh cakes fresh off the griddle.
