University of Wales Trinity Saint David offers a distinctive academic venue proposition through Venue Wales, providing flexible meeting and event spaces that support association conferences, professional gatherings and knowledge‑led events. With campuses located in Carmarthen, Lampeter and Swansea, organisers can choose settings that support focused discussion, networking and learning, while connecting delegates to the academic and community contexts that underpin Wales’ research and skills base. This multi‑campus approach offers flexibility for associations delivering conferences, meetings and development‑focused events.

Meeting and event facilities

Carmarthen - The Halliwell Centre with a choice of and flexible spaces available, each with state of the art AV equipment and Wi-Fi. The University has an in-house catering offer delivered through on-site cafes, dining halls and selection of pre-ordered buffets. Accommodation is available on the Lampeter and Carmarthen campuses, supporting residential conferences and multi day learning events.

  • The Centre accommodates 175 pax theatre style, 120 pax cabaret style  
  • The Halliwell Theatre, with stage, accommodates 325 pax.
  • Five meetings spaces accommodates 30 pax for breakouts , smaller meetings and events.  

Lampeter - The St David’s Building, Lloyd Thomas Dining Hall and Arts Hall in a picturesque rural setting situated in the middle of Lampeter town. 

  • The Dining Hall accommodates 350 pax, 250 cabaret
  • The Old Hall can be adapted to a number of layouts accommodates 100 pax
  • The Arts Hall with stage, accommodates 230 pax, theatre style 
  • The Founders’ Library can accommodates 50 pax, with the adjoining Ryder Room accommodating an additional 22 pax
  • The Old Board Room accommodates 22 pax

Swansea - offers spaces on the SA1 Waterfront in the IQ building as well as Dylan Thomas Centre.

  • The Vivian Hall holds 220 people (theatre style) and 110 people (cabaret style)
