Original Hideaways made the perfect location for our team day for a number of reasons. One of the prominent factors was the strong alignment between our like-minded values and brand ethos, alongside the importance of supporting another local business. With both brands rooted in Mid Wales and offering something unique in the region, it felt both natural and important to support Original Hideaways. Initially a client of ours, having purchased one of our saunas in Spring 2025, it was a fitting and lovely opportunity for us to become a client of theirs.

With facilities that perfectly suited our needs for the day, Original Hideaways provided an ideal setting for us to reflect on the past year and plan for the year ahead. Having a Heartwood Sauna on-site was the perfect addition to the day, allowing us to host a sauna session for our team to round-off the afternoon. In a tranquil position down by the river, the sauna fits beautifully into the peaceful surroundings and provided an end-of-day treat for the team.
Did the facilities meet your expectations?
The venue is beautifully considered, and ticked every box for functionality and feel. The Grain Loft Event Space in particular provided everything we needed, thoughtfully curated in one space.
It's a spacious room with amazing light and views, which had a large screen for presentation and all the necessary tech equipment. It was perfect for holding the key briefings and big enough to bring everyone together. The addition of a kitchen also made it easy to cater for the group throughout the day.
HeartwoodWe wanted to host the team day somewhere peaceful, where our team could switch-off a little and enjoy a day together outside of work and Original Hideaways offered a perfectly balanced venue – which helpfully didn’t feel overly corporate – for this. In the run-up to the day, every request was taken care of and we arrived to find the space had been prepped beautifully - thank you Anna and Robin!"
