Dr Zhou’s research interests span multimedia computing, perceptual image processing, and computational vision. In recent years, Dr Zhou has published over 100 refereed papers in these areas, including those published in prestigious journals and international conferences. Dr Zhou’s research has achieved real-world impact on the development of low-level vision techniques at Alibaba Cloud. Dr Zhou has received IEEE CASS VSPC Rising Star Honorable Mention Award (the first recipient in IQA research field worldwide) in 2024, ACM SIGMM China Outstanding Doctoral Dissertation Award (1st nationwide) in 2022, and Grand Challenge Winner Award (1st place) in CVPR CLIC 2021.
