Views out over the River Severn and the Wye Valley create a natural blank-canvas space for meeting and event planners to do their best work.
Easily accessible from Newport (Casnewydd), Cardiff (Caerdydd) and Bristol by car and by train, Chepstow Racecourse is a venue on a grand scale. Set in a magnificent 400 acres of parkland, it is a first-choice for sizeable indoor and outdoor events and festivals.

The scale of a racecourse with the style of a purpose-built meeting and events space.
The site was a park first, racecourse second. Pretty Piercefield Park was bought by a consortium of Welsh businesspeople with the racecourse coming onstream as a later addition. The capability-designed gardens remain a well-kept feature to this day and gives the venue a multi-purpose look and feel.

A venue that comes ready-set with meeting and event infrastructure.
With availability (beyond race days) and accessibility, this site comes pre-equipped with many of the requirements of a large-scale outdoor event. A balance between indoor and outdoor space allows meeting and event planners to take advantage of wet weather indoor space if needs be.

High-levels of repeat business demonstrate the flexibility and affordability of this racecourse package.
Racecourses have proved to be go-to venues for outdoor and particularly live music events. Chepstow (Cas-gwent) has all the added advantages of a “country park” setting and is well-suited to experience-based events, product launches and activity-based events including team-building.

Large and small meeting and event spaces including hospitality boxes overlooking the parkland. Largest hospitality suite can accommodate 180. Outdoor space is almost limitless but 1500 free parking spaces onsite sets an impressive limit for guests driving to the venue.

The Racecourse continues to design and deliver a number of “hosted” meetings and events from the Oktoberfest and Christmas Parties. Speak to the in-house event managers about how to access these.

The Racecourse was opened in 1926, however, during the second world war it became RAF Chepstow utilising the course as a grass runway.
